In my last post I showed you a Soft Valentine’s Day look in a pictorial. Even though pink tones can be less dramatic than other colors, I felt that this makeup had to be paired with a bold lip to create an intense look. If you’re planning to spend this Valentine’s Day with your friends, this might be a good option for a night out.

A pesar de que los tonos rosados puedan ser menos dramáticos que cualquier otro color, sentí que este maquillaje tenía que acompañarse con unos labios fuertes para crear un look intenso. Si planeas pasar este día de San Valentín con tus amigas, este puede ser una buena opción para salir de fiesta.
I went a little harder with contour because once I painted my lips, my face lost all natural shadows. Since this makeup is supposed to look more dramatic than girly, I decided to go for a very dark glossy lip with a more blue undertone than the eyeshadows. What I liked in the end is how much it changed with natural lips and something like this. Either way, the eyes will pop out more if you wear something else without a pink tone, creating a little contrast.
Me fui más intensa con el esculpido porque, al aplicar ese color de labios, las sombras de mi cara desaparecieron. Ya que este look supone ser más dramático que femenino, decidí acompañarlo con unos labios obscuros y glossy con un matiz más azulado que las sombras. Lo que me gustó al final es lo mucho que cambia con labios naturales y con algo como esto. De cualquier forma, los ojos destacan más si los acompañas con algo que tenga un tono diferente al rosa, creando contraste.

You created another lovely look! My only concern would be the glossy lip when it comes to eating or some romantic time on Valentine's day 😉
