Today’s look is nothing but a compilation of several products that I don’t use very often and just played around with until something came up. There is a lot of highlighting action, something we’ve started to see around lately called «strobing», although I semi-contoured with bronzer. The eye makeup turned out into an elegant golden/brown look, great for a night out.
I’m going to be honest and say I’m not a big fan of an excessively highlighted complexion. I find that it exaggerates my imperfections and makes me feel greasy even though my skin is mostly dry. However, the intense highlighting of the cupid’s bow, bridge of the nose, and inner corners is something I really love for a night look. I kept the eyes bold with neutral colors and matched the rest of my makeup with warm tones as well, tying everything together in a glowy way.
